Moody's Investors Service seeks an AVP-Ratings Analyst to lead the rating and monitoring of structured finance transactions, focusing on RMBS and consumer ABS. You will deliver high‑quality credit opinions and engage with market participants to advance analytical rigor.

You will model cash flows, analyze collateral features, and lead rating discussions, coordinating with issuers, investors, and advisors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in credit analysis for structured finance transactions, or five years in general credit analysis.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis for structured finance transactions addressing credit, structural, operational, and legal risks.
• Analyze transaction performance, collateral traits, and structural features for rating recommendations.
• Model cash flows and review documents to assess stress scenarios and outcomes.
• Lead rating committees and present analyses of structures, risks, and legal considerations.
• Communicate with arrangers, issuers, investors, trustees, servicers, and external advisors.
• Represent the team in issuer meetings, investor forums, and operational reviews.
• Publish research including transaction reports, sector commentary, and market analyses.
• Monitor ratings and identify risks and trends across sectors.
• Participate in projects to boost analytical frameworks and digital enablement initiatives.
