Job summary

First Western Trust is seeking an AVP, Senior Credit Analyst in Boulder to lead underwriting and portfolio oversight across loans, deposits, and investments. You will coordinate the full credit process, ensure pricing and documentation standards, and support Relationship Bankers in delivering comprehensive financial solutions.

The role requires 5–7 years of credit experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of lending, underwriting, and/or credit experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and banking software.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze complex loan requests, renewals, and modifications, ensuring credit quality and alignment with client needs.
• Coordinate all stages of the credit process from outreach to onboarding.
• Maintain the loan portfolio through proactive administration including covenants and past dues.
• Support cross-selling by identifying new lending opportunities for existing clients.
• Collaborate with Relationship Bankers and internal teams to support business development.
• Provide training and guidance to Credit Analysts and Loan Associates.
