Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is seeking an AVP to manage the Operational Risk (OR) Framework, policies and procedures, and to consolidate risk data for Branch-wide ORM reporting to Head Office.

Responsibilities include risk aggregation, governance of ORC, and ensuring adherence to policies while supporting departmental objectives. Strong data handling and coordination with regulators and audits are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 5 years of experience in the banking industry.
• 2 years of experience in risk management.
• Knowledge of operational or enterprise risk management concepts, framework, methods, and good governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Risk aggregation and reporting: collect data, QA data input, consolidate, and report to executive committees.
• Governance: administer the Operational Risk Committee (ORC) and maintain ORD policies.
• Management: ensure adherence to policies and support departmental objectives.
• Administration: asset management and record retention management.
