Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Network and Security Engineering experience.
• 2+ years of security technologies/products (DDoS, proxy, VPN, firewall orchestration, NAC).
• 2+ years of network security hardening and logging tool use (e.g., SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK).
• 2+ years of cloud/on-premise defense technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer solutions focused on Palo Alto and Cisco FTD, Fortinet firewalls.
• Automation development using Python or PERL and APIs for data exchange.
• Engineering and operations of VPN and Cisco ISE/NAC remote access.
• Implementing firewall solutions in AWS cloud with auto-scaling.
• Troubleshooting complex network security issues and driving platform improvements.
• Security hardening of devices and reducing vulnerability footprint.
• Logging management of firewall traffic and rules; maintaining baseline docs.
