Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Datacenter Network Engineering team. You will design, engineer, and operate LAN/WAN, hybrid data center environments, supporting scalable, resilient, and secure networking for advisors and clients.

Responsibilities include architecting Data Center, Cloud, and LAN/WAN solutions, deploying on-premise and cloud networking, and leading the network domain within DR plans. Expect collaboration across teams and on-call mentorship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Data Center Core Network Engineering and Architecture in a Cisco-centric environment.
• 2+ years of Cisco NDO & ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst.
• 2+ years of Data Center migration and Hybrid Cloud Networking experience.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and architect Data Center, Cloud, and LAN/WAN networking solutions.
• Configure and deploy on-premise and cloud-based networking technologies.
• Own the network domain as part of the DR strategy.
• Design, deploy, and manage WAN with MPLS, DIA, and SD-WAN.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the organization.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in on-call rotation and mentor team members.
