The University of Arizona Foundation seeks an Associate Vice President for Development to lead major gift fundraising across campus colleges and units, building strategic programs and partnerships with deans, faculty, and donors.

You will manage a portfolio of 20–25 prospects, drive 100+ donor visits yearly, and collaborate with UA senior leaders to achieve significant revenue targets and trusted donor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 9+ years major gifts fundraising experience.
• Proven leadership in planning, executing, and closing major gift solicitations.
• Ability to travel throughout Arizona and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and donor-relations skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead major gift fundraising strategies for 4–6 campus colleges/units.
• Create and manage a 20–25 prospect portfolio, steward high-level donors.
• Set annual fundraising goals with deans and unit directors; moves management.
• Oversee staff development, performance, and training within the team.
• Track fundraising metrics and ensure policy compliance and reporting.
