Job summary

Gentiva is seeking an Area Vice President of Hospice Operations to supervise and elevate multi-site hospice programs (10 branches in MO). The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, strategic growth, quality care delivery, and strong community engagement.

You will oversee operational strategy, admissions, payroll, budgeting, and staff development while ensuring high-quality patient- and family-centered care across home, hospital, and long-term settings.

Qualifications

• RN Degree highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field considered.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and Medicare/state licensure requirements.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and manage budgets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Local Operational Strategy across multiple hospice sites.
• Ensure regulatory excellence with Medicare, licensing, accreditation, and surveys.
• Build and grow partnerships with hospitals, physicians, and discharge planners.
• Provide patient-centered oversight across home, hospital, and long-term care settings.
• Supervise executive directors, medical staff, and volunteers to optimize care coordination.
• Represent the organization publicly and lead community relations and quality initiatives.
