Job summary

California State University, Stanislaus seeks an innovative leader to serve as Associate Vice President of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation. The role leads graduate programs, oversees research portfolios, and grows external funding while advancing campus-wide graduate student success and policy development.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate and the credentials to qualify for appoint­ment as a tenured full Professor in one of the colleges/schools within the Division of Academic Affairs.
• A minimum of three years of progressive experience and leadership in college/school academic administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and leadership for graduate studies, research, and innovation.
• Grow graduate program enrollment and ensure quality across programs and policy development.
• Guide external funding, technology transfer, and scholarly activity while supporting faculty and student innovation.
• Coordinate with Provost, Deans, and key committees for governance and accreditation activities.
• Develop and refine policies to support graduate studies and research across the campus.
