Job summary

State Street Corporate Audit is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to lead and execute complex audits across Global Treasury, focusing on liquidity risk, interest rate risk in the banking book, and investment governance. The AVP will direct audit teams through planning, testing, issue development, and reporting, ensuring evidentiary support and clear communication to senior management.

This role requires strong audit leadership in a fast-paced environment with deep Treasury risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management or related field.
• Advanced degree or CPA/CIA/CFA designation or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex audits across Global Treasury, from planning through testing, issue development and final reporting.
• Direct audit teams assigned to engagements, establish expectations, monitor delivery and coach team members.
• Plan and perform controls testing, including walkthroughs, sample selection, evidence inspection and reperformance.
• Evaluate Treasury processes against regulatory requirements, supervisory guidance and internal policies.
• Apply professional skepticism to assess evidence quality and challenge explanations.
• Use data analytics to support testing and identify anomalies for continuous monitoring.
• Communicate testing status and risks promptly with fact-based analysis and solutions.
• Build relationships across lines of defense while maintaining independence and objectivity.
• Maintain knowledge of Global Treasury risks, regulatory expectations and industry practices.
