Job summary

Citi is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer (React) at Assistant Vice President level to lead design, development, and optimization of enterprise frontend applications.

You will collaborate with back-end engineers, UX/UI designers, and product owners, mentor junior developers, and ensure accessibility and security compliance across platforms.

The role is hybrid in Irving, TX, with a strong focus on modern SPA architectures, React.js, TypeScript, and scalable component libraries.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on frontend.
• Strong experience with React.js, TypeScript, and modern SPA architectures.
• Familiarity with UI testing and accessibility standards (WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise web apps using React.js and TypeScript.
• Implement robust state management and API integration (REST/GraphQL/WebSocket).
• Develop scalable UI components and accessible design systems per WCAG.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive code reviews and governance.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI, and backend teams.
