Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas seeks a Frontend Developer (C12) to lead the design, development, optimization, and implementation of high-performance enterprise frontend web apps using React.js or Angular and TypeScript.

The role collaborates closely with backend engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and architecture leads to translate complex workflows into intuitive interfaces, enforce UI engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern web/frontend technologies.
• Proficient with React.js (18+), Angular 14+, and TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript(ES6+), HTML5, CSS3; knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience with SPA/Micro-Frontend architectures, REST/GraphQL/WebSocket integration.
• Familiarity with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright; and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit/integration/End-to-End testing, and code governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise web apps using SPA patterns.
• Implement robust state management and data integration with APIs and WebSocket streams.
• Build scalable component libraries following accessibility and UX standards.
• Provide feasibility studies, estimates, and contribute to release governance.
• Mentor junior developers and drive coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with backend, UX/UI, product, and architecture teams to deliver business value.
