Job summary

Citi is seeking an AVP ETF Salesperson in New York to drive sales origination and client coverage for Citi's ETF offering. The role focuses on onboarding, relationship development, and expanding Citi's footprint among buy-side clients such as hedge funds and asset managers.

The position supports the Lead ETF Salesperson, coordinates with Delta One and Prime Finance desks, and ensures governance and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, with a focus on sales, business development, or client relationship management.
• Experience in a client-facing role working with the buy-side community (ETF providers, hedge funds, asset managers, pension funds).
• Proven track record in sales origination or supporting complex sales cycles within Global Markets or Prime Finance; ETFs or equity derivatives experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refine and implement ETF sales and marketing strategies to expand Citi's client footprint within Prime Finance.
• Leverage a contact network within the buy-side community to drive client adoption and revenue growth.
• Support the Lead Delta One/ETF Salesperson in managing the sales pipeline, pitch books, and market research.
