Job summary

AT&T is seeking an executive technical leader to drive enterprise-wide technology modernization across network software platforms, APIs, and cloud-native solutions. You will guide AI-enabled transformation, establish architecture standards, and oversee large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver scalable, real-time data platforms and automation.

This role requires deep expertise in OSS/API ecosystems, cloud-native technologies, and complex system integration, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; Master's in STEM preferred.
• Minimum 10 years leading technical teams in telecom architecture and modernization.
• Experience with AI-enabled modernization, ML/AI, RAG, LLM integration, and agentic workflows.
• Strong background in network software domains: Mobility RAN, IP, optical networks, cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to align multiple executive orgs on governance, modernization, and investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide technology modernization strategy, governance, and investment priorities.
• Direct architecture standards, integration frameworks, and modernization roadmaps.
• Oversee design, development, and operation of scalable cloud-native platforms and APIs.
• Drive AI-enabled transformation, including AI/ML, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Build and scale internal engineering capabilities across multiple orgs.
• Represent AT&T in industry forums and standards bodies.
• Lead large technical organizations responsible for architecture, development, and deployment.
