Job summary

League is seeking an AVP, Engineering to lead the Apps & Solutions engineering org. You will own member-facing applications, define architectural standards, and drive delivery excellence across multiple squads in a fast-growing healthcare tech environment.

You will lead 3–5 Engineering Managers with 25–35 engineers, partner with Product and Design, and champion AI-native delivery practices while maintaining credibility with executives and clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience including leadership
• Proven track record delivering enterprise SaaS products
• Deep experience with member-facing consumer applications
• Health tech or regulated data environment experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for squads from scoping to production
• Drive architectural reviews and ensure alignment with roadmap and client commitments
• Lead client-facing engineering engagements and translate technical realities for non-technical stakeholders
• Partner with Product and Design to translate roadmap into engineering plans
• Build AI-native delivery practices and maintain delivery metrics
