Job summary

The AVP, Disability Services at Jewish Child and Family Services Chicago leads strategy and program development to advance an inclusive Jewish and Chicago community for individuals with I/DD, guiding autonomy and life choices.

This role directs or oversees an integrated array of residential supports, employment services, case management, mental health, habilitative and advocacy services, coordinating with JCFS teams and external partners to grow programs and secure long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health, Psychology, Health/Administration or related field from an accredited College/University or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in multi-service health and human services environment.
• 8 plus years of relevant experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• 5 plus years of increasingly responsible management experience in disability services including program development, financial management and strategic planning.
• Experience in developing and executing varied revenue models designed to ensure high quality of care and long-term sustainability of programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, program development and execution of plans for disability services.
• Direct or dotted-line oversight and management of service provision for an integrated array of tailored services.
• Coordinate internal residential supports, employment services, case management, mental health, habilitative, legal advocacy and social/recreational services, leveraging external resources.
• Measure success by program growth, new program development and strong external collaborations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health

Master’s degree (preferred)
