Job summary

AECOM is seeking an accomplished AVP, Design-Build Manager to lead some of the East Coast’s most complex transportation and water projects. You will guide cross‑functional teams from concept through delivery, shaping innovative, resilient solutions and managing high‑stakes client relationships.

Responsibilities include program planning, risk management, schedule and budget oversight, and mentoring junior managers. Frequent travel to project sites is expected; PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 12+ years of related experience, including 4 years in leadership.
• License as a Professional Engineer preferred or obtainable within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Identifies program problems or opportunities; analyzes issues and develops optimal mitigation strategies.
• Manages complex, multi-location projects; oversees scope, budget and timelines.
• Leads cross-functional teams, coordinates with departments to meet objectives.
• Develops and maintains program plans, milestones, resources and budgets.
