Job summary

AECOM is seeking an accomplished AVP, Design-Build Manager to oversee high-profile transportation and water programs on the East Coast. You will guide cross-functional teams from concept through delivery, manage critical client relationships, and drive innovative, resilient solutions that improve mobility and communities.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, ensure scope and budgets are met, and mentor a growing team while navigating complex contracts and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience, including 4 years of leadership experience.
• Experience leading design-build transportation projects is preferred.
• State Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within twelve months.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex, multi-location transportation design-build projects from concept through delivery.
• Manages cross-functional teams and maintains key client relationships.
• Oversees risk management, budget, and schedule to ensure project success.
• Develops and presents program status reports to executives and stakeholders.
• Mentors junior project managers to build organizational capacity.
