AECOM is seeking an accomplished AVP, Design-Build Manager to lead some of the East Coast’s most complex transportation and water projects from concept through delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience, including 4 years of leadership.
• 15+ years of transportation project experience preferred.
• Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects on large complex highway projects.
• State Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Frequent travel to project and client sites.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifies potential program problems or opportunities and mitigates.
• Manages the most complex and sensitive projects across multiple locations.
• Acts independently or as a team leader representing IE with consulting firms and ensures scope/budget alignment.
• Develops and maintains comprehensive program plans with timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
• Leads cross-functional teams and coordinates activities across departments.
• Establishes strong relationships with clients, vendors, and executives.
• Implements risk management strategies to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develops and presents regular program status reports to management.
• Mentors junior program managers to build organizational capacity.
• Drives continuous improvement in program management processes.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Negotiates and manages complex contracts with vendors and partners.
• Leads change management for program implementation and adoption.
