Job summary

State Street is seeking a Product Development Analyst, AVP to drive the development roadmap for new data products. You will perform market research, define requirements, and collaborate with data engineers to bring initiatives to market from concept to launch.

In this role, you will partner with risk, analytics, and business stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and help ensure data quality and performance metrics across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quantitative research, product development, data analytics, or investment-related roles.
• Experience with financial market data and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and opportunities for new data products.
• Collaborate with data engineers and technology teams to design, prototype, and build data products and analytics tools, gathering user feedback.
• Help integrate and manage market and vendor data, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Implement research data products, such as investor behavior and risk indicators, in partnership with the Global Markets Research team.
• Maintain existing data products and support client deliverables.
• Maintain documentation of product features, data models, and user guidelines.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies related to data intelligence.
