Job summary

iCapital is seeking an experienced cybersecurity risk leader to serve as Assistant Vice President, Third-Party Risk & Client Assurance Manager. You will lead a team of ~5 professionals across two risk functions, mentoring staff while performing critical risk assessments for third parties and client inquiries.

You will review complex risk documentation, communicate with stakeholders, and escalate issues as needed, ensuring timely responses to clients and prospects while driving process

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, information security risk management, or related disciplines.
• Experience completing due diligence questionnaires and client security inquiries.
• Experience performing third-party risk assessments of vendors.
• Experience leading cybersecurity or assurance professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple assessments, client requests, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ~5 professionals across Third-Party Risk and Client Assurance.
• Provide day-to-day directions, coaching, and professional development to team members.
• Establish clear expectations, priorities, and accountability across both functions.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and proper support.
• Escalate complex assessments, client inquiries, or vendor issues as needed.
• Work directly on assessments when workload requires it.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop metrics and reporting on workload, risk trends, and program effectiveness.
