Job summary

iCapital is seeking an experienced cybersecurity risk leader to serve as Assistant Vice President, Third-Party Risk & Client Assurance Manager. You will guide a team of about five professionals across two risk functions and directly contribute on assessments when needed.

The role requires strong risk assessment skills, clear communication, and the ability to balance priorities with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity risk, with TPRM, client assurance, or related fields.
• Experience completing due-diligence questionnaires and client inquiries.
• Proven leadership of cybersecurity/risk professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple assessments and priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, vulnerability management, cloud security, data protection.
• Excellent written communication tailored for clients and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ~5 professionals across TPRM and Client Assurance.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and professional development.
• Set expectations, priorities, and accountability across functions.
• Review deliverables for accuracy and proper support.
• Escalate complex risk assessments and client inquiries.
• Contribute on assessments when needed.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Develop metrics and reporting on workload and risk trends.
