Synchrony in Dallas seeks an AVP Acquisition Credit Strategy to develop and oversee credit acquisition strategies for multiple clients. You will lead analytics-driven approaches to balance risk and growth.

You will collaborate with client teams, validate strategies, and ensure compliant implementations with audit standards. This role offers flexible work options (remote near a hub or in-office) with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field; or in lieu of a degree 6+ years analytics experience.
• 3+ years experience with analytics in credit or fraud in the financial services industry.
• 1+ year experience with a data tool such as SAS, Python and/or SQL.
• 1+ year experience with Excel, ideally using pivot tables, macros, etc.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement and monitor new account credit strategies that drive profitable growth within risk appetite.
• Create strategies to minimize both Synchrony’s and partners’ risks, balancing risk-reward.
• Use advanced analytics to build custom credit risk strategies, validate and monitor key metrics.
• Drive enhanced strategies using challenger learnings to reduce risk and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with client teams to understand needs and tailor mutually beneficial strategies.
