Job summary

Synchrony seeks an AVP Acquisition Credit Strategy to develop, implement and monitor credit acquisition strategies across clients. The role emphasizes advanced analytics, strategy validation, and close collaboration with client teams to tailor solutions.

You will work within a flexible environment, with options for remote or hub-based work, and be involved in post-implementation validation and audits. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or similar; or 6+ years analytics in credit/fraud.
• 3+ years' analytics experience in credit or fraud in financial services.
• 1+ year experience with SAS, Python, and/or SQL.
• 1+ year experience with Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc).
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor new account credit strategies for profitable growth.
• Create strategies balancing risk and reward for Synchrony and partners.
• Use advanced analytics to build, validate, test and monitor credit metrics.
• Leverage champion/challenger learnings to reduce risk and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with client teams to tailor strategies and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Complete strategy documentation and meet audit standards.
• Coordinate with implementation to validate pre/post deployment.
