Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited New York Branch seeks a Corporate Compliance Analyst at AVP level in New York City. The role supports the Regulatory Compliance Department with monitoring regulatory developments, assessing risks, testing, and aiding examinations to ensure adherence to federal and state banking laws.

The ideal candidate will understand US branches of foreign banks and related FRB/NYDFS guidance, draft policies, and deliver trainings and reports as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least 4 years of related experience in Corporate Compliance at a financial institution.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (writing and interpersonal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze changes in federal and state banking laws, regulations, supervisory guidance, and enforcement actions.
• Assist in the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of compliance risks across business lines and operational functions.
• Coordinate Corporate Compliance-related responses to regulatory examinations, inquiries, and information requests.
