Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an innovative Assistant Vice President, Controllership to lead G&A accounting, close processes, and internal controls. This role champions automation, AI, and data analytics to transform finance operations, reporting quality, and governance across the organization.

Reporting to the VP of Accounting, you will partner with FP&A, Treasury, and external auditors to deliver scalable, controlled solutions while driving efficiency and business insight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and processes.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Experience with finance transformation, ERP implementations, and close modernization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee G&A accounting activities and monthly close processes.
• Drive automation, AI, and data analytics to modernize controllership.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, and auditors to ensure controls and reporting.
• Support rollout of Oracle Fusion and other finance transformations.
