The Carlyle Group in Washington, DC is seeking an AVP, Content Strategy to own the end-to-end editorial and content strategy for institutional and wealth audiences. You will write, edit, and shape campaigns across Global Private Equity, Global Credit, and Carlyle AlpInvest, partnering with subject matter experts and legal/compliance to ensure accuracy and brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Concentration in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
• Certificate in Content Strategy, Project Management, or related field is a plus.
• 6+ years of overall relevant experience, required.
• Experience in content marketing, journalism/editorial, or content operations within financial services preferred.
• Proven experience writing and editing content marketing for institutional investors, financial advisors, and/or high-net-worth investors.

• Develop, write, and edit high-quality marketing content across formats.
• Translate Carlyle's investment perspectives into compelling narratives for institutional investors and wealth audiences.
• Lead editorial strategy and calendar to align themes and business objectives.
• Create content that informs, engages, and builds relevance across segments and channels.
• Direct and develop freelance/contract writers and maintain editorial quality.
• Lead complex campaigns ensuring narratives translate across channels.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to meet publication standards.
• Use audience insights and content performance data to optimize priorities.
