Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Conference Experiences & Events to lead strategy, planning, production, and execution of in‑person, hybrid, and virtual events that strengthen client relationships and advance firm priorities.

The role combines strategic leadership, operational rigor, financial discipline, and people leadership to deliver high‑touch experiences at scale, collaborating across functions to ensure measurable business value.

Qualifications

8+ years of corporate meeting, conference, or event‑planning experience; financial‑services experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end strategy and delivery of assigned conferences and events with clear plans and success measures.
Lead all strategic, creative, operational, and logistical components including attendee journey, registration, F&B, branding, A/V, and post‑event follow‑up.
Build relationships with senior leaders and vendors; maintain alignment through execution.
Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, and contingencies.
Forecast and reconcile expenses and sponsor revenue while balancing premium experiences with discipline.
Collaborate with analytics to define success measures and communicate outcomes and ROI.
