Job summary

Citi in Los Angeles is seeking an AVP Client Experience Associate to drive onboarding, KYC and client request workflows with a focus on risk controls and regulatory compliance. You will partner with sales, KYC, account opening and product teams to deliver a seamless, differentiated client experience.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in wealth management or financial services.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage internal and external relationships.
• Bachelor's degree; FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65) certifications required or to be obtained within 150 days.

Responsibilities

• Applies onboarding expertise to monitor, assess, and improve processes and data, identifying policy gaps and data inconsistencies.
• Partners with sales teams and liaises with KYC, Account Opening and product partners to fulfill client requests while maintaining communication.
• Ensures documentation is current, accurate, and complete; responds promptly to requests.
• Supports clients navigating KYC onboarding and account opening, evaluating moderately complex issues with potential impact.
• Demonstrates subject matter expertise and helps train/mentor peers; assesses risk and escalates as needed to safeguard Citi's reputation and assets.
