Job summary

Citi in Newark, DE is seeking a Weekend Shift Manager to lead a 25+ staff team in a high-volume lockbox operation. You will oversee staffing, performance management, and daily production activities across shifts to ensure SLA compliance and smooth operation.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills, plus the ability to work holidays and weekends and pass a government background check. Experience in financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience in lockbox operations preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage performance.
• Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office suites.
• Willingness to work a 24/7 schedule and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities of the team, resource allocation, and monitor metrics to meet client SLAs.
• Conduct monthly 1:1s to review progress, provide coaching, and document performance plans.
• Communicate organizational updates through meetings, email, and direct briefings.
• Write and deliver mid-year and year-end performance appraisals.
• Welcome and indoctrinate new hires and recognize top performers.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive process improvements and Lean initiatives.
• Collaborate across shifts/sites to ensure 24/7 coverage and effective teamwork.
• Maintain active participation in shift turnover and daily strategy briefings.
