Responsibilities
  1. Develop and expand small trucking wholesale agency distribution network.
  2. Recommend new programs, products, or lines of business and evaluate their profitability.
  3. Communicate underwriting preferences and new offerings to agents and brokers.
  4. Build long-term relationships with key agencies, insureds, and industry associations.
  5. Monitor agents and brokers against profitability and performance objectives; collaborate with Underwriting on appointments and terminations.
  6. Maintain agency/broker contracts in accordance with guidelines.
  7. Monitor industry trends and provide marketplace reports.
  8. Work with Underwriting to make data-driven decisions.
  9. Create and distribute marketing materials.
  10. Oversee advertising and promotional activities, managing the marketing budget.
  11. Host visiting wholesalers and coordinate with company personnel.
Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of related commercial insurance experience.
  2. Understanding of Property & Casualty insurance industry and market dynamics.
  3. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
  4. Strong analytical and reasoning skills with attention to detail.
  5. Experience in a large, matrixed environment with geographically dispersed teams.
  6. Entrepreneurial and creative approach to challenges.
Education
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
Additional Details

Remote candidates will be considered. The company offers a competitive salary range of $100k - $150k, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness programs, paid time off, 401(k), and profit-sharing. The actual salary depends on various factors.

Travel requirement: 25%
