Job description

Work Flexibility: Field-based

The VTE Business Development Manager, using independent judgment and as a subject matter expert, takes a lead role in building and leading VTE program strategies within defined geographical areas. This role involves cultivating and maintaining relationships at multiple levels among hospitals to develop overarching program strategies. The manager provides broad support to regional team members and maintains ongoing ownership of training related to all aspects of VTE Excellence.

Responsibilities
  1. Regional ownership of program development and support of strategic initiatives with the Regional Sales Director/AVP.
  2. Proactively drive strategic initiatives across regional hospitals and within the regional team.
  3. Identify, influence, and gain support for VTE program building initiatives with hospital administrators and stakeholders.
  4. Manage and master VTEE program building with ongoing success and align with company objectives.
  5. Partner with the National Account Team to drive program-specific initiatives in key IDN hospitals.
  6. Secure commitment for economic analysis and clinical performance reviews.
  7. Utilize economic and clinical data to drive business growth and define strategic structure and vision.
  8. Oversee marketing and awareness campaigns within these groups.
  9. Maintain consistent communication within sales and cross-functional teams to complete projects.
  10. Develop partnerships with key leaders such as AVP, RSDs, NAM, MDS, and Account Managers.
  11. Identify solutions to build rapport with key customers and assist regions in identifying new opportunities.
  12. Enhance knowledge of market developments and company products, serving as a subject matter expert.
  13. Create a collaborative, inspiring, and accountable team environment through regular communication.
  14. Demonstrate leadership within the team and organization.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, or related field.
  • 6-7 years of business development experience in MedTech.
  • Experience working with sales, management, and marketing teams to expand regional market share.
  • Proven ability to develop new hospital programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid business acumen and market knowledge.
Preferred
  • Master’s degree in relevant fields (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in regional and national leadership roles.
  • Background in hospital program development.

Inari Medical offers competitive benefits. The base pay range is $125K, with factors like location, skills, and experience influencing actual compensation.
