Job summary

First Northern Bank in Auburn, CA is seeking an AVP/Branch Manager to lead day-to-day branch operations, supervise a team, and drive sales, service, and operational excellence.

You will direct marketing and sales activities, manage budgets, and coordinate with departments to refer clients to Real Estate, Asset & Trust, Investments & Brokerage and SBA. Strong leadership and customer service skills are essential, with a Bachelor's degree and relevant supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• 5 years of financial services experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience and proficiency in sales management, including planning, goal setting, tracking, reporting, and selling.
• Management experience commensurate with size of assigned branch.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce sales management process by conducting monthly sales meetings.
• Establish sales goals for each branch sales team member. Track and report progress towards achieving sales goals.
• Ensure quality and integrity of the sales process. Identify and refer prospective customers to specialized area departments within the Bank, Real Estate, Asset and Trust, Investment & Brokerage and SBA.
• Business development of market area through proactive sales calls and networking.
• Responsible for insuring that all customer issues are resolved in a timely manner as per customer service standards. Encourage branch staff and sales team to promote customer knowledge of alternative delivery channels, (Cash Management, Online Banking, Telebank, etc.).
• Ensure branch merchandising and marketing materials are current.
• Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies.
• Maintain operational integrity and mitigate risk of the branch through best practices, staff training and development.

The AVP/Branch Manager will manage day-to-day branch activities of their branch by leading a team of bank professionals to achieve company goals for sales, service, and operational excellence. The AVP/Branch Manager directs, manages and leads the marketing and sales activities, including budget projections of a branch to improve market share and achieve the business, financial and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or
• 5 years of financial services or related experience with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience and proficiency in sales management, including planning, goal setting, tracking, reporting, and selling
• Management experience commensurate with size of assigned branch
• Willingness to transfer or relocate based on business need is required
