Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to oversee cyber risk management across lines of business. You will partner with senior leaders, translate risk into actionable guidance, and drive remediation across domains including incident response and controls.

The role requires a strong technical background, the ability to present to senior leadership, and experience in regulated financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• CISSP or CISM strongly preferred; CRISC/CISA/SSCP/CCSP/CEH/GIAC valued.
• Eight+ years of progressive cybersecurity and risk leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to enable informed decision-making and risk trade-offs.
• Oversee risks in line with risk appetite and escalate open risk items.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments across applications, platforms, and systems.
• Prepare executive-ready briefs on protection needs, threat models, and control results.
