Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Asset-Backed Securities platform. This role will support origination and client coverage across ABS asset classes, collaborating with senior bankers, credit professionals, and risk teams to evaluate transactions and perform corporate and financial analysis.

The annual base salary range is $135,000.00 – $160,000.00, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in ABS, structured finance, securitized products, credit analysis, or corporate banking.
• Strong understanding of securitization structures and capital markets.
• Experience analyzing financial statements and corporate credit profiles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support origination and execution activities across a variety of ABS asset classes, including esoteric asset sectors.
• Conduct detailed corporate and credit analysis of issuers and counterparties.
• Analyze quarterly and annual financial statements to assess creditworthiness and identify key risks.
• Partner with front-office banking teams and risk professionals to evaluate transaction structures and financing opportunities.
• Assist with client coverage efforts across a large portfolio of ABS clients and prospective issuers.
• Prepare credit memoranda, transaction analyses, market updates, and presentation materials.
• Work closely with first-line-of-defense bankers to support underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
• Evaluate transaction performance, collateral quality, and structural features of securitization transactions.
• Collaborate with product control, risk management, and other internal partners throughout the deal lifecycle.
