Job summary

Archer, in partnership with Barclays, is seeking an Assistant Vice President Application Support Analyst AVP in Whippany, NJ. You will manage fraud applications for US Consumer Bank, oversee service levels, and partner with Production Service Manager for end-to-end service management.

This role demands ITIL discipline, incident management, and hands-on SQL expertise. You will lead major incident reviews, design BCM/DR strategies, and drive automation of monitoring and alerting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fraud applications in US Consumer Bank
• Strong ITIL service management knowledge
• Experience with incident management and PIRs
• Ability to design BCM/DR and resilience strategies
• Proficient SQL with performance tuning
• Experience with RTB/BTB changes and production support

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the service management function to resolve complex issues for Barclays’ clients.
• Lead preventative maintenance and monitor metrics to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain knowledge base for resolved cases and self-service.
• Analyze logs and errors to identify root causes and apply fixes or configuration changes.
• Drive automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, and resiliency efforts.
• Identify risks and issues and remediate or escalate per process.
• Tune monitoring thresholds and alerting to pre-empt issues.
