Job summary

GM Financial Technology is seeking an AVP Platform Site Reliability Engineering (PSRE) to lead reliability strategy across the organization. You will build and coach high-performing SREs and SRAs, drive non-functional requirements, and implement agentic AI capabilities to automate resilience and risk reduction.

This role partners with Cybersecurity, Architecture, Product, and Engineering to optimize observability, incident management, and cloud cost while delivering scalable, self-healing

Qualifications

• Experience leading Site Reliability or Platform Engineering teams.
• Proven track record with agentic AI, AIOps, or autonomous ops.
• Deep knowledge of observability, incident management, and SRE practices.
• Experience reducing toil and improving MTTR and availability.
• Strong governance, security, and risk remediation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define PSRE strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Lead adoption of agentic AI across reliability domains.
• Establish automated controls validating reliability and non-functional requirements.
• Develop self-healing systems with automated remediation.
• Improve incident trends, MTTR, and service availability.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Architecture, Product, and Engineering.
