Job summary

Athene is seeking an Assistant Vice President – Finance, Actuary Data & Reinsurance Delivery to lead strategy, execution, and engineering of technology solutions for actuarial, finance, and reinsurance. You will build scalable, secure platforms and drive modernization across data management, onboarding, and reporting while collaborating with Finance, Actuarial, and Technology leaders.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in leadership.
Experience leading enterprise application engineering and platform development teams.
Strong understanding of actuarial, finance, or reinsurance processes.
Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Finance/Engineering; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, delivery, and modernization of tech solutions for actuarial processing, liability data management, and finance integration.
Build a high-performing engineering organization for Liability Data Mart/Subledger and Reinsurance tech.
Partner with Actuarial, Finance, Reinsurance Accounting, and Technology leaders to design integrated solutions.
Champion AI-enabled development with governance and enterprise-wide delivery.
