LPL Financial is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Accounting Policy to support accounting for complex transactions, maintain significant policies, and enhance external disclosures as the company grows. The role collaborates with finance, external reporting and stakeholders to ensure high-quality reporting.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Accounting Policy or Financial/SEC Reporting.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• CPA license required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate research and documentation of technical accounting issues and reporting matters.
• Enhance and maintain significant accounting policies reflecting changes in transactions or standards.
• Monitor SEC and FASB activities and assess impact with Finance.
• Assist in implementation of new accounting pronouncements and process changes.
• Serve as liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters.
• Develop training and presentations on technical topics.
• Participate in SOX and regulatory controls.
• Provide guidance on new business transactions and policy development.
• Communicate complex results clearly to diverse audiences.
