Job summary

Union City Church in Washington, DC is seeking a Production & Media Coordinator to oversee AVL operations, livestreams, filming, and post-production. This role combines technical excellence with creative storytelling to produce compelling content for YouTube, podcasts, social media, and church communications, while leading a volunteer team.

You will manage on-site Sunday services and events, recruit/train volunteers, and handle equipment, budgets, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in AVL live production and post-production editing.
• Proven ability to recruit and train volunteers.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under live-event pressure.

Responsibilities

• AVL Production: Ensure technical excellence of live audio, video, and lighting operations for all services and events.
• Volunteer Training, Oversight & Care: Recruit, train, and oversee the AVL production team and staffing for events.
• Video & Media Support: Produce video and digital media content and assist with recording, filming, editing, and distribution.
• Financial Coordination & Asset Management: Track expenses and manage equipment inventory and purchases.
