Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Melbourne, FL is seeking an onsite avionics technician to support test, troubleshooting, and integration activities. You will follow schematics, run functional tests, and document results using standard procedures.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and 1+ year experience with basic troubleshooting, plus familiarity with test instruments. Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–12:30 PM schedule and FAA safety considerations apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) or vocational/technical education with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• 1+ year experience in basic component level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Follows blueprints or diagrams to ensure product specs and tolerances.
• Performs functional testing per established procedures.
• Records test data and documents results of tests and inspections.
• Operates test equipment and loads/unloads electronic equipment in test beds.
• Adheres to safety, quality systems, and ACE continuous improvement.
