Job summary

HEICO Aerospace is hiring an Avionics Engineering Technician to join our Engineering team. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and testing avionics test equipment and systems, with attention to detail and reliability.

You will perform electrical and mechanical assembly, assist in failure analysis, and support test procedures and data collection. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this FAA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of test equipment and systems, electronic troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
• Experience with engineering documentation, repair specifications, and test procedures.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• FAA required pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assembly and testing of avionics test equipment.
• Provide support in failure analysis and root cause corrective action of test equipment and systems.
• Support development, maintenance, approval of test procedures, and gathering of engineering data.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of systems for testing Avionics.
• Perform soldering/rework and PCB assembly as required.
• Read, write and comprehend English technical documentation.
