Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Avionics Technician to perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of avionic systems on a diverse fleet of corporate aircraft in a fast-paced environment. Work adheres to FAA-approved data and repair station guidelines to ensure airworthiness.

You will read manuals, install systems, complete RTS paperwork, and communicate status to supervisors. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a Service Hub/AOG setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing, repairing and troubleshooting avionics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and schematics.
• Proficient in preparing maintenance and RTS documentation with high accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and follow directions in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
• Strong communication with supervisors, MCC and site reps.
• Experience servicing and maintaining aircraft components and engines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a variety of corporate aircraft in compliance with FAA data and repair station procedures.
• Read and interpret manuals to determine repair methods for malfunctioning components.
• Install, repair and troubleshoot avionics systems with calibrated testing equipment.
• Complete all maintenance documentation, work orders, and RTS paperwork.
• Ensure accurate release paperwork and timely aircraft status updates.
• Communicate status changes promptly to supervisors and MCC.
• Support Service Hub/AOG operations and urgent maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot using a multimeter and testing equipment to diagnose issues.
• Maintain a clean, orderly shop and assist with basic office tasks.
• Utilize MS Office and Apple software for documentation and reporting.
