Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking an Engineering Technician to support operations in our FAA-regulated facility. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and diagnostics of aerospace equipment.

You will read electrical schematics and drawings, perform preventive/corrective maintenance, and document findings. A strong electronics background and familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Aviation Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, engineering support, maintenance, aerospace, manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of equipment and systems.
• Support engineering personnel with daily operational and project-related tasks.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Collect, record, and analyze technical data.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, test reports, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, safety, and company requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while properly utilizing required tools and equipment.
