Quantum Space in Rockville, MD or Hawthorne, CA is seeking a technically driven Avionics Test Software Engineer to develop automated test software, EGSE, and hardware/software integration test infrastructure for spacecraft avionics supporting Ranger missions.

You will work with avionics, flight software, electrical, systems, and test engineers to build robust test infrastructure, verify hardware and software, and ensure test results are repeatable and defensible.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with automated test software and/or EGSE development.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW, Python, C/C++ or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software configuration management and version control (Git).
• Experience with verification/test methodologies and fault injection.

Responsabilidades

• Develop automated test software and EGSE software for spacecraft avionics.
• Create reusable test applications, instrument interfaces, and test sequencing tooling.
• Develop software to control laboratory instrumentation and communicate with embedded avionics hardware.
• Build maintainable test frameworks separating hardware interfaces, test logic, configuration and data handling.
• Develop verification tests including positive/negative testing and fault injection.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and hardware/software integration testing.
