Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a highly motivated Avionics Test Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. You will support the testing and verification of avionics hardware, executing test plans, setting up equipment, and documenting results with precision and traceability.

The role collaborates with systems, hardware, and software engineers to troubleshoot issues, update test plans, and maintain lab environments, while offering hands-on experience and growth in avionics

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
IP Communication course work or work experience.
Experience reading and following technical documentation, schematics, and test procedures.

Responsibilities

Execute test procedures on avionics hardware in accordance with established test plans and industry specifications.
Set up, configure, and operate test equipment, instrumentation, and simulation tools.
Collect, analyze, and document test results with attention to accuracy and traceability.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to troubleshoot issues and support avionics testing.
Contribute to updates of test plans, procedures, and test reports.
