Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a hands-on Test Specialist to independently plan, prepare, execute, and troubleshoot electrical and hardware tests. You will work with Test Engineering and Electrical Design teams to define test objectives, develop procedures, and drive test coverage across development and production hardware.

You will review schematics, set up bench tests, and capture traceable results while documenting anomalies and ensuring safe, repeatable test practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on electrical/hardware testing experience.
• Ability to plan and perform tests independently.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and interface docs.
• Proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and logic analyzers.
• Experience writing test procedures and documenting results.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and identify test objectives and gaps.
• Determine what to test, configurations, measurements, and pass/fail criteria.
• Create ATPs, checklists, and instructions for prototype/production hardware.
• Build and verify test setups with bench instruments and DAQ systems.
• Perform bring-up, functional verification, and repeatable bench tests.
• Troubleshoot failures, document findings, and drive corrective actions.
