Amentum is seeking an Avionics Technician to install, inspect, test, and repair avionics systems on CBP aircraft. You will work from a maintenance shop or flight line, troubleshoot complex avionics issues, interpret manuals, and use precise test equipment.

You will log maintenance records, mentor less-experienced technicians, and periodically travel to support customers’ missions, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of aircraft avionics/electrical experience required.
• Ability to read and follow manuals, schematics and publications.
• Must obtain CBP background clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics, electrical, and instrumentation systems on aircraft.
• Interpret manuals or drawings to solve complex problems.
• Use test equipment to perform troubleshooting and checks.
• Remove, repair, install, inspect, and test components.
• Log entries and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Travel to support customers' missions as needed.
