Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Avionics Technician to install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment on CBP aircraft. You will troubleshoot complex avionics/electrical systems, interpret manuals, and perform maintenance on components using precise test tools. The role includes documenting work in aircraft logs and mentoring junior technicians.

Travel may be required. Applicants must have five years of avionics experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain CBP clearance.

Qualifications

• 5 years of aircraft avionics/electrical experience.
• Ability to read and follow manuals and drawings.
• Must obtain CBP clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.
• Interpret manufacturers' manuals and drawings for complex problems.
• Utilize test equipment to perform troubleshooting and checks.
• Perform removal, repair, installation and inspection of components.
• Log entries in aircraft records and provide guidance to junior technicians.
• Travel as needed to support customers' missions.
