Job summary

Blue Origin invites applications for an Avionics Technician to support fabrication, testing, and installation of avionic equipment for flight and non-flight systems. You will work from schematics to assemble, validate, and troubleshoot harnesses, sensors, and avionics boxes while ensuring safety and mission readiness across prototypes and operational hardware.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, using precision calibration tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
• Expertise with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install avionic equipment including harnesses, sensors, and instrumentation for flight and non-flight systems.
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, repair, and modify avionic hardware per schematics and instructions.
• Operate calibrated tools to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Document work, and coordinate with engineering and quality teams.
