Job summary

Blue Origin on Space Coast, FL seeks an Avionics Technician to support engineering, production, and manufacturing by fabricating, testing, repairing, and installing avionic equipment for both flight and non-flight systems. Work from schematics to assemble, validate, troubleshoot, and upgrade avionics components.

You will handle wire harnesses, sensors, and flight control devices, performing functional tests and documenting results while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics accurately.
• Use torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers to calibrate components.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install avionic equipment for flight and non-flight systems.
• Perform functional testing, validation, and operational checkout using test equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and modify avionic hardware as required.
• Route cables, solder, crimp, rework connectors, and install sensors to aerospace standards.
• Document work completed and provide timely feedback to engineering and quality teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and apply 5S principles.
